The class is a balance of structured teaching and supported autonomous working. Classes are small to allow for one-to-one guidance. You can expect to be led through the steps from drawing to finished painting as works progress. You’ll draw in different ways, look at colour application, under-painting, blocking in, light values, reflected colour and blending and detailing techniques. The exploration of formal training is balanced with the expressive qualities of the painter- the language of mark making and paint application.…
