Our Branch have supported the work for the last 92 years of the volunteer crews of our Royal National Lifeboat Institution - the charity that saves lives at sea. Like the actual lifeboat crews, all the Branch members are volunteers and give freely of their personal time in order to support and raise money for this worthwhile charity.

The Kirklees Light Railway is proud to once again join forces with the athletes of the Denby Dale Athletics Club for their annual Race the Train night. This fun run see athletes attempt to Beat Badger on the run back from Shelley Station to Clayton West! The running route is four miles long and has a 60 metre fall. HCHCT Are bringing the Cuban feel to Holmfirth on Friday 21st June. Join us at the Civic Hall for a fantastic evening of Rum, Rum and more Rum! Your ticket price includes a Rum Punch on arrival and a Rum Tin Cup to takeaway with you. Live Entertainment by Honley Samba Band, with a chance to join in!
