Holmfirth Conservation Group - Community Briefing Tuesday 28th February at Picturedrome Doors open 7:30pm for 8:00pm start. Come along to our fourth public open meeting where HCG will be sharing some of the provisional results of the various surveys. Take this opportunity to meet the team compiling the Conservation Area Appraisal and share ideas with like-minded people. The Holmfirth Table Football Network has been set up to raise money for charities and sports clubs. The group meets every Friday, 6pm at Thongsbridge Tennis Club Bar The table is playable whenever the Tennis club is open but regular sessions with more experienced players are on Fridays, with monthly Tournaments. The table costs 40pence per play and all proceeds go to the Junior Fund at the tennis club which ensure the young players have transport to Tennis Tournaments. The money generated…

Fairtrade Fortnight is a fun-filled highlight of the year when campaigners, businesses, schools and places of worship show their support for the farmers and workers who grow our food in developing countries.
