Do you enjoy meeting new people? Do you want to help clean up the river and make it a better environment for native wildlife? Then join our river clean-up and balsam bash on Friday 24 May. Meet in the swimming pool car park at Sands recreation ground, Holmfirth. All welcome. We'll provide litter pickers, gloves and (if necessary) waders, but wear sturdy footwear and old clothes.

For the bank holiday all are welcome to bring a picinic and join us on the 27th of May at Stirley Community Farm for outdoor fun and games. This is a FREE event. Refreshments: Tea, Coffee and Cakes are available
Come and join us on Bank holiday Monday for some fun outdoor games and activities. Have the chance to explore our gardens and vegetable patch and bring your own picnic to admire the view. Our Branch have supported the work for the last 92 years of the volunteer crews of our Royal National Lifeboat Institution - the charity that saves lives at sea. Like the actual lifeboat crews, all the Branch members are volunteers and give freely of their personal time in order to support and raise money for this worthwhile charity.
