Table tennis, badminton, Tai Chi, yoga, pool, cards, cuppa and a chat all for £5 at the Phoenix Centre, Dunford Road Holmfirth. Not Olympic standard, everyone plays for fun. You don't need a partner and a warm welcome awaits you. Come and give it a go or tell your over 50s family and friends.

Huddersfield and District Family History Society are holding fortnightly Ancestry sessions in the 1st floor IT Suite at Holmfirth Library, on Wednesday afternoons between 1.30-3.30pm, starting on 8th February. On the first Sunday of every month Friends of Honley meet outside the library at 10am to either litter pick, weed, paint, tidy or a multitude of other things to make sure Honley looks great.
Oaklands Health Centre in conjunction with Making space and Carers Count hold a drop in the 2nd Thursday of every month, 12pm-2pm. You do not need to have a diagnosis of dementia or be a patient at Oaklands Health Centre. Making space offer help, advice, information and support for people affected by Dementia and their carers. Come and join us for a cup of tea and a chat.

Day to day life can be tiring and busy as a carer. Sometimes, we may need some coping strategies on how to pick ourselves back up and stay positive. Take away some practical tips and tools, as well as share experience with other carers. Join us for a 2 1/2 hour, fun session on positive thinking.
