THE COACH HOUSE is situated 400 yards from the centre of the small ‘Last of the Summer Wine’ market town of Holmfirth. The town is home to many artists who live and work in the area and there are many festivals through-out the year. Holmfirth boasts a range of good pubs and restaurants from Asian/Oriental to English/European.
Day 2 of the Tour de France Grand Depart will pass through Holmfirth on its way to Holme Moss on Sunday 6th July 2014. Bicycles can be accommodated in a locked garage on request at owner’s risk.
This self-catering accommodation nestles in the foot hills of the South Pennines in the Holme Valley on the northern boundary of the Peak District National Park. The hills and valley offer great walks. The Pennine Way and Trans-Pennine Trail are close by.

THE COACH HOUSE – a Grade II Listed cottage was built at the beginning of the 19th century and is located in a private elevated position. The property is all on one floor but access is via a short flight of outdoor steps.
Sleeping Four, the one bedroom has a double bed with additional single bed. The large living room has a single sofa bed. A cot is available on request. Sliding French windows lead into an enclosed garden and patio area with table, chairs and a three seater garden swing.
The kitchen is fitted with a gas hob/electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and tumble drier. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and the use of a hair dryer are included and there is off-road parking for one car.
Changeover days are Fridays and Mondays and three and four day breaks are available.
