Growing Great Places – Community Crowdfunding Workshop at Meltham Carlile Institute

These workshops are part of Growing Great Places, a new community crowdfunding initiative by Kirklees Council. As part of this initiative there is extra support available to residents and groups with ideas. There is also be a fund of £50,000 available with projects potentially getting pledges of up to £5,000 to their campaign.

Come to one of our free workshops to:

– Learn about the programme and how you can get involved

– Hear about the funding available and the process to apply

– Learn about what makes a great crowdfunding project

– Get tips and advice on running a successful crowdfunding campaign

Whether this is your first time creating a project, you’re a seasoned community organiser, you work with communities who could get involved or you simply want to play a part in improving Kirklees this workshop will tell you everything you need to know to join in.

North Kirklees – covering Dewsbury & Mirfield, Batley & Spen – 25th of June, 6.00 – 8.00pm at Dewsbury Town Hall
South Kirklees – covering Huddersfield and Rural (Colne Valley, Holme Valley, Denby Dale and Kirkburton)- 3rd of July, 6.30 – 8.30pm at Meltham Carlile Institute
