|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until 2nd August 2019

Free

The project is called ‘Wild Club’, where young people (ages 9-14yrs) can come and learn about wildlife and gain new skills for free. This will include setting up camera traps, looking at small mammal tracks and a range of other activities.

The club will be held at Stirley Community Farm from Tuesday the 30th of July till Friday the 2nd of August, 10:00 till 13:00 everyday, with a different focus for each day.

We are doing this project with Yorkshire Wildlife Trust as part of the Tomorrow’s Natural Leaders youth project. Our aim is to engage young people with local wildlife and conservation to make environmental ambassadors that will protect our nature’s future.

If you are interested, please email Emily Smith on emily.smith@ywt.org.uk for more information.
