We are looking for a Level 3 Qualified Childcare Manager to join our friendly preschool & out of school club.

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a relevant level 3 childcare qualification
  • Have 3 years childcare experience
  • Have managerial experience
  • Have experience within a childcare setting
  • Paediatric first aid – Training will be given if needed
  • Be enthusiastic, fun, caring and passionate
  • Have a robust knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Develop and maintain good communication with staff, school & especially parents
  • Ability to work independently

Main duties include:

  • To ensure the day to day running is kept to a high standard
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Monitor and manage staff, continually improve practice and support the team
  • Attend meetings, training, appraisals and supervisions as required
  • Planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment
  • Planning activities that are specific to a child’s / group abilities & interests supporting the individual’s development through play.
  • Participation in the key children system, up to date recording and reporting on their development and progress
  • Contribute to a high standard of care for the children
  • Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the preschool, out of school club, school and especially with parents
  • Administrative tasks
  • Providing snacks and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met
  • General Cleaning of the club
  • Administering first aid when necessary
  • Delivering children to school and collecting them from school to the club safely
